Architect

Anthony Pearson is an Architect with more than 40 years experience; in architectural practice since 1981.  He specializes in functional programming, long term planning, facilities management and barrier free design, working with PR-TY on varied government projects for the last 10 years.

As a valuable member of our team, he is contracted to work on specific projects where his qualifications, knowledge, analytical and communication skills are an asset to the successful completion of a project. He has successfully completed several functional programs and planning studies for large government office facilities, some of which involved the re-accommodation of several hundred employees within existing or new facilities. He has worked on projects for the National Capital Commission, National Research Council, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Health Canada and Public Safety.

Anthony is Past Chairman of both the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA) and the City of Nepean Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee (LACAC).  He is also a Past Director of both the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Ottawa Chapter and the Federal Inter-departmental Facility Management Association.  He is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). 

He graduated with a B.Arch from Carleton University in 1977 and a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1968.
